This repository contains marine data on temperature, dissolved oxygen, pressure, practical salinity, density, conductivity, current speed and direction, total alkalinity, total scale pH measured at four coastal stations in the Gulf of La Spezia (Eastern Ligurian Sea): 1. Santa Teresa Bay (STB, 44.081871°N, 9.881686°E) (depth: 1 m) leisure marina inside the dam; 2. Mussel Aquaculture station (MUS, 44.079140°N, 9.874360°E) (depth: 5 m) inside the harbour; 3. Mussel Aquaculture Buoy (MAB, 44.077130°N, 9.880829°E) (depth: 5 m) outside the harbour; 4. Tino Island (TI, 44.019788°N, 9.850245°E) (depths: 1, 5 and 16 m) in the Regional Park and outside the Gulf. 

The monitoring is realised in the context of Smart Bay S. Teresa collaboration platform (https://smartbaysteresa.com/), where a new in situ coastal high-resolution observatory has operated continuously for three years between 2021 and 2024.

Biogeochemical data (total alkalinity (TA), total scale pH (pH_T)) have been determined  weekly at STB and monthly at MAB and TI, respectively. 

Hydrodynamic conditions were recorded from 18th of October 2021 to 26th of June 2023 by single-point current meters located at 5 m of depth outside and inside the dam of La Spezia port (MAB and MUS stations). For the same period, wind speed and direction were collected by a meteorological station, located at an altitude of 49.5 m in the same area and operated by ENEA.

Sea surface height (SSH) measurements were also available for the period 13-27 April 2022, recorded by a pressure probe positioned at STB station on the seabed.
