Nascent water waves induced by the impulsive motion of a solid wall

This table contains raw data supporting the findings from publication "Nascent water waves induced by the impulsive motion of a solid wall" by W. Sarlin, Z. Niu, A. Sauret, P. Gondret & C. Morize

Each line corresponds to an experiment, with the different columns indicating respectively:

o the regime attributed to the wave*
o the total stroke of the piston L in meters
o the maximum velocity U reached by the piston in meters per second
o the initial water level h in meters
o the relative acceleration gamma/g=U^2/(gL)
o the Froude number Fr_p=U/\sqrt{gh}
o the relative stroke Lambda_p=L/h
o the maximum amplitude of the wave A_{m0} at the contact with the piston in meters
o the mid-height width lambda_{m0} of the wave when A_{m0} is reached in meters

* Each experiment belongs to one of the following regimes:
o bSWJ: transition from breaking solitary waves to water jets
o WJ: water jet
o pbB: plunging breaking bore
o sbB: spilling breaking bore
o pbBWJ: transition from plunging breaking bores to water jets
o DS: transition from dispersive to non-breaking solitary waves
o D: dispersive wave
o DWJ: transition from dispersive waves to water jets
o S: non-breaking solitary wave
o bS: breaking solitary wave
o DbS: transition from dispersive to breaking solitary waves
