Atmospheric and Hydrographic data from Kalloni Bay mooring platform, 2020

Measurements of atmospheric and oceanographic variables (wind speed and direction, relative humidity, dew point, atmospheric pressure and temperature, sea temperature, pressure and salinity) were collected from the Kalloni Bay mooring (26.2084, 39.1677) in Lesvos Island.

Devices

Oceanographic Variables 

Data for the seawater temperature, pressure and salinity were recorded at 2-hour intervals by a Sea-Bird HydroCAT-EP deployed to a depth of 4m underneath the weather station.  

Atmospheric Variables 

Atmospheric variables (wind speed and direction, relative humidity, sea level pressure and temperature and dew point) were recorded by a Gill MaxiMet GMX500 Compact Weather Station, located at a height of about 3 m above the water level, at 15-minute intervals.
